The method
How SnapWrap makes a roll
Pictures in. Repeating wrapping paper out. This is the full path, from the drop zone to a printed roll.
01
You send pictures
Drop in up to five files. PNG, JPG, WEBP, TIFF, SVG, or PDF, 12 MB each. If you already have a wrapping pattern, use Upload your own — one tile, and we square it and repeat it down the roll.
Every file you drop is used. Don’t upload the same artwork twice. Photos of one clear subject, centered in the frame, work best.
02
Tile or Confetti
Tile makes one repeating design from your files and mosaics it down the roll, like classic gift wrap.
Confetti cuts the objects out and scatters them many times across the paper.
03
We turn them into wrap art
For most styles, each upload is redrawn as a flat wrapping-paper graphic — an illustration of what you sent, not a reprint of the photo. Photo collage is the exception: it keeps your files as photos and stamps them onto the sheet.
Style, density, motif scale, and layout (same orientation or tossed) steer how busy the paper feels and how the pieces sit. Theme & artwork is optional: paper color, extra small motifs, how to treat a face or object. Leave it blank for a simple even ground.
04
We build a repeating tile
Those graphics are isolated from their backgrounds and laid onto a square tile that repeats on all four edges, so the roll can print continuously without a visible join in the file. If you describe paper color or extra fillers, that ground is composed first and the motifs sit on top of it — they are not painted over the paper afterward.
Upload your own skips the redraw. We square your tile and step it down the roll as you sent it.
05
You preview, then you pay
You get three views: the single tile, a step-and-repeat of that tile, and the pattern on a gift. Check Repeat to see how the sheet runs. These are previews, not a proof of the finished roll.
If you like it, pick a roll — 24″ or 30″ wide, in 15, 30, or 50 ft — and pay on PayPal. We print with eco-conscious ink at 150 dpi on roll media. We do not send a customer proof. If the file looks wrong, SnapWrap will reach out.
06
Print, ship, and timing
A designer may refine the file before print. That work is a courtesy, not a guarantee of a perfect seamless repeat or an exact match to your uploads or the preview. Screen color will not match the printed roll exactly.
Ground is the default. Please allow ample time for printing and delivery, and order well in advance of any date you need the wrap. First-day and second-day air are possible for Hawaii, Maui, and Alaska. Air freight is expensive and is not included in the roll price — we quote the extra charge and confirm before it ships. Other rush requests can go in the order notes; we will try to accommodate.
